Online age verification 

Exploring how retailers can verify a customer is over 18 without collecting or storing personal data.

I built this proof of concept to explore a more privacy-first approach to online age verification — proving that someone is over 18 without requiring a retailer to collect, see or store their personal information. Instead, the retailer receives a simple, verifiable yes/no decision from a trusted verification service, backed by signed cryptographic proof.

The POC demonstrates the end-to-end experience, from consent and verification through to returning the user to the retailer with a secure proof token that can be independently validated.
